Nineaxis has a thread in the mapping section where he lists a clipping brush that only affects the cube.

Still enjoy playing this map!

Is there any way to lower the brightness on the sand?
Or maybe it's just my graphics card!

played earlier tonight and i must say the angled corners by the middle stairs were a very nice addition. there was still an instance of the cube going out of play over the wire fence, not sure if you had tried to fix this or not yet

updated to BETA 4 version added more cube clipping and fixed some bugs.
